COORDINARE is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Communications Assistant to join our team and report to the Senior Manager, Communications.

COORDINARE is the Primary Health Network (PHN) for South Eastern NSW. We work with government, non-profit, healthcare providers, service partners and communities to coordinate local health services and support those at risk of poor health outcomes.

Purpose for this role: 

  • The Communications Assistant will work collaboratively with the Communications Team to support communication activities which engage key stakeholders, in particular general practitioners, and health consumers, with the purpose and activities of COORDINARE.
  • The role will assist with the coordination of content, editing, publication and distribution of stakeholder publications such as newsletters, social media and support the development of other publications such as brochures, factsheets, and reports. It will also assist with coordination of artwork and reporting monthly on key communication activities including social media, website, and newsletter engagement. 

What skills and experience are required to be successful in this role?

  •  Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders including internal staff and external suppliers. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise initiative, meet tight deadlines and work within budget constraints.
  • Demonstrated skills in a range of desktop publishing and MS office software applications and knowledge of existing and emerging digital technologies, design principles and design software.
